Mats is a veteran VFX artist with over 22 years of professional experience. Currently he focuses primarily on effects-systems and look-development in Houdini, but started his career as a character animator and general 3D artist. He became a lighting TD after a few years of animating, followed by a CG Supervisor position at Aardman Nathan Love. He lived and worked on Manhattan & he is an alumni of The School of Visual Arts, in New York City.
Mats now resides in Stockholm where he works primarily as a freelance senior Houdini Technical Director for film and television.
